Officer Kevin Butler is The Cincinnati Police Department’s Liaison to the Mt. Washington Community.  Officer Butler is our direct contact with the Cincinnati Police Department.  He regularly communicates vital information on crime in our community and Cincinnati Police Department initiatives.

Officer Butler tirelessly supports our community and frequently goes above and beyond his regular duties to make Mt. Washington a better place.  One example is Officer Butler’s lead role in organizing and working Mt. Washington’s Prescription Drug Take Back Events.  During these events Officer Butler collects and delivers unused, unwanted prescription medication to the DEA for safe disposal.  During our last Take Back Event, 87lbs of unused, unwanted prescription medication was collected!  Safe disposal of unused, unwanted prescription medication makes our community safer.

Office Butler is also our contact for the annual National Night Out event. This year’s event takes place August 6th at Owl’s Nest Park. CPD District Two is providing free rides this year! The bus will leave from Mt. Washington Elementary at 5:30 pm and returning around 9pm. Space is limited. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Officer Butler attends all Mt. Washington Community Council meetings providing updates on crime, recent arrests and answers questions from our community.  Our meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, 7pm at the Mt. Washington Recreation Center.

Thank you Officer Butler for your hard work and commitment to Mt. Washington!
