The Mount Washington Comprehensive Plan

This Plan has been created through a neighborhood-wide visioning process and will serve as a guide to development and reinvestment in the Mt. Washington Community for the next several years.  The plan has been approved by the MWCC, the Cincinnati Planning Commission, and the Cincinnati City Council.

Hard copies of the final document are available right here.

Free Trees - Yippee!

The Cityís Urban Forestry Department will plant ìstreet treesî in front of your house if you call them.  The trees are free, or at least, you already paid for them through your property taxes (the urban forestry tax of $ 0.14 cents per frontage foot).  Street trees are the trees that are in the road right of way located between the curb and sidewalk; or if there is no sidewalk, they are located about seven feet from the edge of the pavement.

Lets take advantage of this wonderful program and enhance our neighborhood, as well as get some of our tax dollars back and have those dollars invested in the Mt. Washington neighborhood. In addition, planting street trees will help implement several of the goals of the new Comprehensive Plan.
