California Woods Nature Preserve comprises one acre of prairie/meadow habitat, and 113 acres of forest community that include one of the finest remaining examples of a climax mixed mesophytic woodland in southwest Ohio. The forest surrounding the climax forest is in various stages of succession.

Oxford Avenue (behind Blockbuster Video)
Stanbery Park is named in honor of Brigadier General Sanford B. Stanbery who had his home on the park site and was the highest ranking officer from Hamilton County in World War I. The 125.509-acre park is located at Oxford Avenue, north of Corbly, in Mt. Washington. The first parcel of land was purchased in 1938.
